Here’s the Software I Personally Use & Love for Collabs, Summits, and in my Online Business

Software isn’t going to magically change your business results, so if you already have something that works for you, there’s no need to change it.

That being said, I’m sharing my favorite software (the ones I personally use in collaborations, my summit, and my online biz in general) because they make my life easier and I can recommend them with full integrity.

Here is my tech stack (with details on why below):

Ontraport

Email, Landing Pages, Marketing Automation, and more.

I use this for almost everything, and have for 11 years.

• Email.

• Landing Pages (and the entire Grow With Collabs website!).

• Shopping Cart & Upsells.

• Affiliate/Referral program.

• Custom swipe copy & media for affiliates.

• File Hosting.

• Gamification.

• Tracking Links.

• ALLLL my marketing & funnel automation (including creating fb custom audiences).

It’s what allowed me to take maternity leave in my biz, and there’s nothing I’ve wanted to do that it can’t do.

Seriously.

I’m sure I’ve only used like 10% of what it does as well.

It’s powerful and has saved me having to pay for a multitude of other services.

It was AWESOME to put my summit on here almost entirely.

So yes, it’s a higher monthly fee, but it reduces my software stack a ton.

It occassionally breaks, but their customer support is amazing. It’s why I’ve stayed so long, even through some rough patches when things were less stable with them. Customer Support is everything.

Descript

Video/Audio Editing & Repurposing

Descript makes editing audio/video & making reels as easy as editing a text document.

You literally copy/paste/delete words in the transcript and they edit the media to match.

Want a reel from something you said?

• Highlight the text,

• Copy it into a new document,

• Add a template with captions

• Export & Post.

So. Freaking. Easy.

It’s the closest thing to magic I’ve ever seen, and it makes editing my podcast and made editing all these interviews a breeze…

Hello Audio

Private & Public Podcasts

My people LOOOOOOOVE listening to audio on the go.

They listen to more audio than they watch video (at least in the tests I’ve done).

So I turn as much of my content as I can into audio.

I LOVE that I can create private podcast feeds that ONLY show up for my paid clients (and I can revoke access if they leave).

• My mastermind members get audio-replays of the meetings that they can play on their favorite podcast app of choice.

• I put all the summit videos on there as audio in a private podcast.

• I give out an audio version of my free “5 Step System to Scaling Your Biz the Right Way” evergreen funnel guide along with the free ebook.

• I also host my public podcast there. I pay WAY less than libsyn and I love being able to do dynamic ad inserts.

• Plus, I have a private podcast with all my behind-the-scenes thoughts just for email readers that you can check out here if you want to (bonus - you’ll see how I use Videoask with this as well).

It’s literally the best for podcasts, private OR public.

Videoask

Personalized Video Welcomes + Opt-ins

With everyone focused on MASS messages and scaling, adding in a bit of personal touches along the way in key places can really help differentiate you.

It’s also HUGE for building trust fast with new email readers, which is super important if you have a high-ticket offer like I do.

So I use Videoask to message back and forth with anyone who signs up for my private podcast or one of my free lead magnets.

They get a chance to introduce themselves, and I send them a personal welcome video.

I also use it for segmenting my audience, setting up coaching calls, collecting success stories, and more.

It’s a beautiful way to add a personal touch amidst the automation so you can get to know your clients, and they can get to know you.

Searchie

Video Hosting & Search + Hubs

I host all my videos on Searchie, and have several hubs (aka Websites) there where I host my courses & mastermind replays.

Why?

Because it allows people to search what was said in a video.

This is SO powerful for Masterminds because my members can go back and search all the past meetings and look for things we discussed, like email marketing, and find the exact place in the videos where we talked about it.

They’ve also got some sweet AI stuff rolling out that allows you to create AI content that is SOURCED from your own content, not from the web as a whole, so you KNOW it’s from your expertise.

Zapier

Connects all the things

This is the magic coding that connects all my software and sends information between them.

So when someone signs up for my podcast, which comes in via videoask, this sends the info to Hello Audio and then that info gets sent to Ontraport where I email it all to my new subscriber.

All without me having to write even a tiny bit of code.

It’s simple and makes my life so easy.

Zoom

Record calls & interviews

I do interviews, calls, and mastermind meetings here.

It’s still better than all other video call software I’ve seen.

Pretty much everyone I know uses this now, so I’m not going to say more.

But here’s what you do need to add to it….

Fathom

Summarize, Bookmark in Real Time, and Export Zoom Call Snippets to Reels

Fathom is a FREE zoom plugin that kicks ass.

It records a backup of your zoom call that you can download (so no need to pay for cloud recording storage in zoom).

But that’s not the biggest thing.

There’s a sidebar where you can bookmark & highlight parts of your zoom call IN REAL Time.

It’ll go back and start the highlight at the start of the sentence, wait for the speaker to finish, and then (if you want) export & send that specific video clip to you in slack, so it’s waiting when your meeting is done. 😳

Or you can grab it afterwards on your own.

Great for reels, or for marking the best parts of your video in REAL time as you record it so you can go back and find the nuggets.

Oh, and you get a list of all the questions anyone asked during it as ewll.

(REALLY great for exploratory & sales calls… they’ve got some amazing features for those as well).

They also have the best AI summary I’ve seen for video so far.

And it’s free.
